For years Simon Delestre has been in the top positions of Longines showjumping world ranking. He has competed in five World Cup finals and two Olympics (London 2012, Tokyo 2021). Simon won the team gold medal at the Nations cup final in Barcelona in 2013 riding Qlassic Bois Margot and with same horse the team silver medal during the World Equestrian Games 2014 in Caen. He took the third step of the podium, with Hermes Ryan, at the European championships in Aachen in 2015. Through the month of march in 2016, he was number one in the world ranking. He won a big amount of 5* GP (Paris, Paris Hermès, Verona, Bordeaux, Lyon, Amsterdam…). In 2022 he placed second in the team Nations cup final in Barcelona and won the Nations cup in Rome with the French team.
