The Acavallo® jumping close contact shape memory foam flat pad with shaped withers and 3D spacer spine is made with 3D spacer and expanded polyvinyl chloride (PVC), whose main technical features make this polymer perfectly suitable for the design of equestrian products. This material is elastic yet very resistant and non-slip. It is also scratch-resistant, easy to clean, machine washable, but above all 100% recyclable. What characterizes the collection is not only the choice of materials, but also the inclusion of essential technical aspects.
On the central line that follows the spine there is an insert in 3D material, which allows high freedom of movement and maximizes air recirculation. Furthermore, the withers area, thanks to the shaping, has been designed to protect the withers from pressure.
The memory foam, wrapped in an elegant suede covering, made up of open cells of flexible polyurethane foam, reduces its thickness in the presence of pressure points and where additional volume is not needed. This guarantees correct weight distribution, improving the saddle set-up.
The thickness and density of the memory creates a cushion effect between the saddle and the horse's back capable of absorbing shocks, while limiting vibrations and friction.
